Clark Gregg Is An Agent of Mercy for Atlantic Theater Company
With great power comes great responsibility. And we’re thankful for all the generous agents who showed their power in supporting our recent Clark Gregg campaign benefiting the Atlantic Theatre Company.
New York Comic Con has been the spot for some of Clark’s fondest memories, including the first panel for The Avengers and the announcement that #CoulsonLives. But before he was everybody’s favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Gregg cut his acting chops on the New York stage. So to help raise money for the organization that was such a formative part of his career, he brought the two worlds together and flew one lucky winner to New York for the ultimate Comic Con VIP experience.
As a former artistic director, the Atlantic Theater Company holds a special place in Gregg’s heart. He was there in the beginning when it was created at New York University by David Mamet and William H. Macy, and he watched it grow into a revered and essential off-Broadway institution and the birthplace of hundreds of important new works. And thanks to the generosity of Prizeo donors, new plays were commissioned from the next generation of playwrights and students had free access to the arts.
For grand prize winner Anicia A., it was a dream come true. From VIP access to Comic Con to hanging out with Agent Coulsen and the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents on the press line, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that was made possible through the generosity of Prizeo’s charity partners.
